Rob commenced his undergraduate studies at UWA studying organisational psychology in the workplace.
 
Rob has over 20 years’ experience in Industry.  Rob commenced his career working for the Department of Defence in Canberra as a Programmer. He relocated to Perth to work at Hamersley Iron as a DBA. Rob then joined John Laing Construction in London, UK and later Siemens (Engineering Section) in Munich, Germany providing DBA services.  On his return to Australia, he held the position of Manager of IT Murdoch University and later rejoined Hamersley Iron until 1999.

John graduated from Ireland in Robotics and Automation of Factory Systems, lived in Japan and held a bilingual project engineering management position, before relocating to WA where he secured a contract to program a robotic welding system for Hamersley Iron track pads. He became Microsoft Certified System Engineer through Unisys West supporting Bank West (building Neighbourhood Banking SOE), Project Manager in mining and utilities, winning WA Engineering Excellence Award 2008 and 2009. During this time he secured a Masters Degree in Management IT and more recently Project Management Professional accreditation.

John serves as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager with demonstrated experience in delivering on complex projects together with aptitude in applying professional project management principles and practices to deliver client-based solutions. IT and Engineering Project Management, mining rail technology projects for rail asset tracking, earthworks, cyclone resistant enclosures, downstream systems.

Pilar has over 15 years experience in IT service management and comes from a Computer Science (Programming) and Computer training background. She has worked with state and local government bodies and more recently in the mining industry, with Iluka Resources, Woodside’s AdesiSolutions and Rio Tinto via Calibre Systems. 
 
Her experience includes service support and delivery management, planning and coordinating business systems training, change management and project work such as system roll-outs and relocations (IT). Pilar is completing her Masters in Information Systems Management at Curtin University and has Certificate IV in Workplace Training.

Beatrice HonBeatrice Hon

Beatrice has over 18 years’ experience in the Building and Construction Industry.  Beatrice commenced her career in Perth, working with renowned and well-established local firms. 
 
Beatrice spent some time in the Republic of Ireland as a Design and Project Architect responsible for the coordination and direction of Structural, Mechanical and Electrical and Hydraulic engineering and other consultants and liaison with builders and their trades, engineers, government authorities and so on.  On her return to Perth Beatrice continued her architectural career as a Senior Project and Design Architect prior to joining REM. 
 
In her career Beatrice has been involved in many complex architectural projects requiring in-depth knowledge of building and construction including an understanding of Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics Engineering.
